Support/Care Worker – Moe VIC 3825

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for dependable and compassionate Support/Care Worker's, to assist with in-home support based in Moe, Victoria (3825). Ideally fluent in Croatian or Serbian.

The role involves providing practical and personal assistance in a private home environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in respectful, person-centred care and can work independently to support wellbeing and daily living.

Role Overview The Support Worker will be responsible for providing ongoing, in-home and community-based support in Moe. Duties will include:

• Assisting with daily living tasks and light domestic activities
• Encouraging community participation and personal independence
• Maintaining professional standards of privacy, dignity, and respect
• Keeping accurate records and following care plans
• Complying with food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards

Key Requirements

• Preferably reside in or near Moe VIC 3825
• Fluent in Croatian or Serbian (spoken communication highly preferable)
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day care responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and a respectful, person-centred approach
• Current P1 driver’s licence and willingness to transport the client if required

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support
• Prior experience in in-home or community-based care roles
• Calm, compassionate, and professional care approach

Mandatory Requirements

• Legal right to work in Australia
• 100 points of ID
• National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NSW Working With Children Check
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
