What's the opportunity?
We are currently searching for an experienced Graduate or Junior Project Engineer to join the Clean TeQ Water Team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of co-ordination and delivery of various projects.
The role will be based in the Notting Hill office, Victoria.
Coordinate all required activities on projects as directed by the Project Manager
Monitor engineering and design for safety and quality compliance.
Reporting and preparing project progress reports
Reviewing of Engineering drawings and carrying out document checks
Facilitating Bill of Materials, raising purchase orders and quotations
Manage delivery, installation, commissioning and hand-over to client;
Responsible for project documentation including document registers, transmittals and manufacturing record data books
Participate in client and CleanTeQ meetings; liaise with client representatives, suppliers and internal departments.
Preparing project safety documentations such as JSA / SWMS
Conduct work in a safe manner; complying with company Safety Management Systems and Legislative Requirements.
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Specific knowledge in areas of water/wastewater engineering would be desirable.
Knowledge of design packages such as Solid Works, AutoCad, FEA, or CFD software
Proficient in all aspects of MS Office
Experience working in a project environment (12 months preferred)
Valid Australian drivers licence
