This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager to take on a high-responsibility role managing a varied client portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge across accounting, tax, audit, and advisory, as well as excellent leadership and client relationship skills. You will have an active role in shaping the delivery of services and supporting team development both onshore and offshore.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of clients across sectors, delivering end-to-end accounting, tax compliance, and advisory support.
• Experienced in end to end accounting, including producing final sets of Financial Statements with full disclosures and completed supporting working papers - FRS 102(1A)
• Preparation of tax computations (Corporate, Individual, VAT and Capital Gains) and some experience of advising clients on tax matters
• Be the key point of contact for clients and directors, articulating value-added services clearly and confidently.
• Supervise and develop a multi-level team (both UK-based and offshore), motivating and ensuring delivery excellence.
• Utilise cloud-based systems such as Xero, IRIS, and other ERP/practice platforms to streamline and enhance delivery.
• Uphold and implement the firm's service level agreements, client charter, and care policies.
• Work closely with partners and account directors to uncover new opportunities and maximise client value.

What We're Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 3-5 years+ post-qualification experience in practice.
• Strong technical experience in preparing full sets of accounts, tax returns, and advisory reports.
• Confident communicator able to liaise directly with clients, directors, and partners.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams (including offshore staff).
• Proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
• Skilled in Xero Cloud, IRIS, and other modern accounting and practice management tools.
