Experienced Site Work Foreman

We are actively seeking an Experienced Site Work Foreman to join our growing team!
A locally owned construction company in the Savannah, GA area is expanding and looking for a skilled leader with hands-on experience in site work, grading, and underground utilities. This is a long-term opportunity with a clear path for advancement and leadership growth.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong field experience operating heavy equipment, installing storm drainage, reading blueprints, and leading crews by example. You'll be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators (track hoes) and bulldozers
- Perform site preparation and fine grading
- Install storm drain pipe and related structures
- Operate pipe lasers to ensure proper alignment and grade
- Read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Lead and manage a crew through hands-on leadership and strong work ethic
- Maintain OSHA safety standards and site protocols
Required Skills & Experience - Fine grading experience with dozers and excavators
- Storm drain installation and pipe laying experience
- Strong understanding of grading math
- Blueprint reading and interpretation
- Knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations
- Proven ability to lead a crew in the field

Compensation & Benefits Include: - Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Details - Job Type: Full-time
- Expected Hours: 45-60 hours per week (on average)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturdays optional
- Plenty of overtime available
Requirements - Valid Driver's License (required)
- Ability to commute to the Savannah, GA area (required)
- Ability to relocate to the Savannah, GA area prior to start date (required)
