Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

Position Summary
 
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks
across Mason Hills Farm properties, including farm facilities, processing areas, RV
parks, and related structures.
 
This role ensures that buildings, grounds, and equipment remain safe, functional, and
presentable. The position is part-time initially, with the potential to transition into full-time
based on performance and operational needs.
 
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Part-time (hours vary)
Employment Type: Hourly
Reports To: Ownership / Assigned Lead
 
Core Responsibilities
 
Facility Maintenance
· Perform basic repairs to buildings, fencing, gates, and structures
· Address minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues
· Maintain lighting, doors, locks, and fixtures
· Conduct routine inspections to identify needed repairs
 
Grounds & Property Care
· Support upkeep of farm property and RV park grounds
· Coordinate or perform basic landscaping tasks as needed
· Maintain cleanliness of common areas
· Ensure roads, walkways, and entrances remain safe and accessible
 
Equipment Support
· Assist with upkeep of small tools and equipment
· Report major equipment concerns promptly
· Perform preventative maintenance tasks when assigned
 
Operational Support
· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
· Support event setup or breakdown as needed
· Assist with general operational needs across properties
 
Requirements
· Reliable attendance and punctuality
· Ability to work independently without constant supervision
· Basic knowledge of general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical)· Ability to lift 50+ lbs
· Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
· Valid driver's license
 
Preferred (Not Required)
· Prior maintenance or handyman experience
· Experience working on farms, RV parks, or commercial properties
· Equipment operation experience
