Retail Associate (Part-Time)

Position Summary
The Retail Associate supports daily store operations, customer service, and product
transfer. This role ensures customers receive accurate orders, clear communication,
and a professional experience while supporting inventory movement and fulfillment.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced farm and processing environment.
Pay: $15/hour
Schedule: Part-time (hours vary)
Supervision: No supervisory responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Customer Service
· Greet customers professionally
· Answer basic product questions
· Process retail transactions
· Assist customers with product selection
Order Fulfillment
· Pull product accurately from inventory
· Verify order contents
· Prepare orders for pickup
· Transfer product to customer vehicles
Inventory Support
· Restock retail cases
· Rotate product properly
· Maintain freezer and cooler organization
· Report low inventory to distribution team
Facility Standards
· Maintain clean retail area
· Follow food safety and handling protocols
· Support light cleaning duties
Requirements
· Reliable attendance (critical requirement)
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs
· Comfortable working in cold storage areas
· Basic math skills
· Professional communication skills
· Ability to follow process without constant supervision
Preferred (Not Required)
· Retail or food service experience
· Experience in agriculture or food production
· Familiarity with POS systems
