Now Hiring - Full-Time Maintenance & Grounds Technician
Location: Grand Bay, AL
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Starting Pay: $20/hr and up (based on experience)
We are looking for a dependable and skilled individual to fill a full-time Maintenance & Grounds Technician role based in the Grand Bay, AL area. This position involves a mix of landscaping, light construction, and utility maintenance—serving both a local landscape company and an RV park.
Job Responsibilities:
Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance (Landscape Company):

• Perform routine lawn care: mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
• Assist with planting, mulching, and landscape design projects
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Help maintain properties, including occasional work on a military base
• Follow team lead directions and safety protocols

RV Park Maintenance:

• Repair and maintain water and sewer lines
• Troubleshoot and fix electrical power boxes
• Service and maintain yard vehicles and equipment (mowers, golf carts, etc.)
• Perform general maintenance tasks to keep park facilities clean and safe

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check (required for military base access)
• General experience with landscaping, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred
• Ability to safely use power tools and maintenance equipment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physically able to lift, bend, and work outdoors in various conditions

Compensation & Schedule:

• Starting at $20/hour or more, depending on experience
• Full-time: Monday through Friday
• Opportunities for pay increases with skills and time on the job
