Position Overview:
HUNT-EAS is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead technical design and project execution for complex municipal water and wastewater systems. This individual will oversee design teams, manage client relationships, and ensure high-quality project delivery across treatment, distribution, and collection systems. The role requires a technically strong leader with proven experience in Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling, and process design, capable of driving projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage multiple water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, distribution networks, stormwater systems, and pump/lift stations.
· Serve as Project Manager overseeing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination.
· Conduct hydraulic modeling, process design, and regulatory permitting for municipal systems.
· Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
· Partner directly with clients to define project goals, provide engineering solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
· Oversee AutoCAD Civil 3D-based design deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation across the department.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
· Experience:
o Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater design and construction.
o Proven project management and leadership experience.
o Strong background in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling (WaterCAD, SewerCAD, etc.), and process design.
o Experience with permitting and regulatory processes for public infrastructure.
