Location: Mt. Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $16–$18/hour, based on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring, flexible, and dependable Floater Teacher to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting classrooms throughout the day, covering breaks, assisting teachers, and maintaining a smooth daily routine for our students. The ideal candidate has a heart for young children, a love for Jesus, and a willingness to serve wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in classrooms with daily activities and supervision
• Provide classroom coverage during teacher breaks and absences
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
• Interact positively with children, families, and staff
• Follow lesson plans and daily schedules as needed
• Model Christian values and behavior consistent with the school’s mission
• Support transitions between activities, lunch, nap time, and dismissal

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with children (preferably in a preschool setting)
• Flexibility to work with different age groups, from infants to pre-K
• A passion for working with children in a faith-based environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background checks and meet SC DSS childcare requirements

Preferred:

• Early Childhood Education coursework or certification
• CPR/First Aid certified
