Job Title: Warehouse Foreman
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Reports To: Supervisor
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour
Required PPE: Steel-toed boots, long pants, safety vest
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to both give and follow directions. The Warehouse Foreman will operate a forklift, manage inventory, and support the warehouse team in meeting company goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Warehouse Operations: Direct and coordinate activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Operate Forklift: Safely operate a forklift (certification required) for loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, record keeping, and report discrepancies to the Supervisor.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, long pants, safety vest).
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff; foster a positive and productive team environment.
• Communication: Give clear instructions to staff and effectively communicate with the Supervisor and other departments.
• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse; manage documentation and computer-based inventory systems.
• Problem Solving: Address operational issues as they arise and escalate to the Supervisor when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Must be forklift certified.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Computer Skills: Comfortable using warehouse management software and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.).
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Communication: Able to give and take directions well; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
