A private school in downtown Charleston, S.C. is seeking a Bus Driver for Extracurricular/Athletic Activities with a flexible schedule to join our team!

• Candidates must be available 7 days a week as some extracurricular trips require transportation on Saturday and Sunday
• Typical hours are between 5:30 am - 8:00 pm
• Trips during the day the weekday varies on timing and could be up to two activity trips a day

• Drive school bus/s for the purpose of transporting passengers over scheduled routes to and from school and/or field trips/activities in a safe and timely manner
• Monitors students and other passengers during transit for the purpose of ensuring the safe transportation of all passengers
• Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior for the purpose of reinforcing established guidelines and maintaining passenger safety
• Assists students and other passengers for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations

• Candidates must hold a valid CDL B license with Passenger Endorsement
• Clean driving record
• 2-5 years of experience in the bus industry preferably in a post-secondary institution
• Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress in a neat, clean and professional manner for the assignment and work setting
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
