What You’ll Be Doing

• �� Post & Manage Loads: Enter load details accurately and post available freight on carrier boards.
• �� Book & Negotiate: Make and receive calls to secure trucks, negotiate competitive rates, and keep freight profitable.
• �� Vet Carriers: Review contracts, insurance, safety records, operating authority, and other carrier qualifications.
• ��️ Coordinate the Details: Schedule pickups and deliveries while keeping everyone on the same page.
• �� Track the Freight: Monitor booked loads throughout the day and communicate with shippers, carriers, and drivers to keep everything moving on schedule.
• �� Solve Problems: Jump in quickly when freight discrepancies or unexpected issues pop up—and find solutions.
• �� Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and transportation partners.
• �� Keep Customers Happy: Respond to questions and concerns professionally and with a strong sense of urgency.
• ⚡ Stay Ahead of the Game: Anticipate potential problems and take action before they become bigger issues.
• �� Communicate Constantly: Use phone, email, and other communication tools to keep freight and people moving.

What You Bring 

• �� Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus—but experience and the right attitude matter more!
• �� Transportation, logistics, freight, or supply chain experience is preferred.
• �� Outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
• �� Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• �� Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• �� Natural relationship-builder who can work effectively with all types of personalities.
• ⭐ Strong customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
• �� Comfortable with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and computer-based systems.
• ⏱️ Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines without losing your cool.
• �� Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
• �� Reliable, dependable, and committed to showing up and getting the job done.
• �� Willingness to respond to emails outside traditional office hours when needed.
• �� Familiarity with logistics concepts and supply chain terminology is a plus.
