Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger accuracy
- Reconcile sales tax payable accounts
- Research sales tax regulations and manage exemption certificates
- Support inventory and cost accounting functions
- Assist with ERP system evaluation, implementation, or optimization 
- Help develop and improve accounting workflows and reporting processes
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
- Maintain strong internal controls
 
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with multi-state sales tax reporting preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems 
- Manufacturing and inventory accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
