Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end freight brokerage activities, including securing capacity, qualifying carriers, and keeping customers informed throughout the shipment lifecycle
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with customers and carriers regarding load progress, updates, and service expectations
• Partner with the tracking team to monitor freight in transit and proactively resolve delays or service disruptions
• Address service and billing concerns promptly and professionally
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies and regulatory standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Background in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence managing phone and email correspondence
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a calm, solution-oriented approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate incomplete or conflicting information and determine appropriate next steps
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new 
• Experience with McLeod, Parade, Highway, Chain, or similar transportation management systems
