Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
• Organize, review, and manage large volumes of case documents and exhibits
• Coordinate discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and depositions
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and court filings
• File legal documents with state and federal courts (including e-filing systems)
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation as directed
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and demonstratives
• Track billable time and assist with case budgeting
• Ensure compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate preferred
• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience (varies by firm)
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules
• Experience with discovery management and document review
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with e-filing systems and case management software
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
