MyStaff is partnering with a well-established Omaha employer to hire a Cash Applications Specialist for a 6-month temporary assignment with potential to go permanent. This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in cash posting and reconciliation within a high-volume environment.
About the Role: You’ll handle the accurate application of customer payments, resolve unapplied or misapplied cash, and ensure timely account reconciliation. The position involves daily work in JPMorgan banking systems, Salesforce, and Workday, so prior experience with these tools is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Process incoming payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) and apply to customer accounts.
Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash and other payment discrepancies.
Reconcile daily cash activity and support month-end close.
Collaborate with collections, billing, and finance teams to resolve issues quickly.
Maintain accurate records and support audit compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
2–4 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable.
Proficiency with JPMorgan platforms, Salesforce, and Workday.
Strong grasp of basic accounting principles (debits/credits) and solid Excel skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently.
You must reside in IA, NE, TX, FL, ME or IL (no exceptions)
