We are hiring a Collections Specialist on behalf of a respected client in Omaha. This is a full-time, in-office contract position that offers the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of accountability, great communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving outstanding receivables.
Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers to follow up on past-due B2B accounts via phone and email
• Investigate and resolve billing issues or payment discrepancies
• Maintain clear and accurate records of collection efforts
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account disputes
• Prepare aging reports and provide status updates to management

• 4+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software
• Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Salesforce, etc.) is a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Professional and persistent approach to follow-up and customer interactions
