Senior Manager or Manager Opportunity - 12-Month FTC

The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you'll lead and uplift organisations compliance framework and operating rhythm, providing pragmatic second-line challenge and support to business leaders. You'll run the compliance monitoring programme, influence policy and regulatory change management, and ensure incidents and breaches are managed with transparency and speed.
 
What you'll be doing

• Maintain and embed the Compliance Framework (obligations, policy management, regulatory affairs, incident/breach processes)
• Partner with business owners to develop, document and manage key policies and procedures
• Lead incident and breach assessments, analysis, remediation and reporting
• Deliver the compliance monitoring programme and targeted assurance activities
• Prepare high-quality reporting for Executive, Board and Committees
• Design and deliver compliance education and training, lifting awareness and engagement
• Continuously improve processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency across the business
• Champion values and compliance culture

 
What you'll bring

• 6 - 8+ years' risk, compliance or audit experience is essential & experience in the private health insurance is highly desirable. 
• Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards and contemporary compliance practice
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills; adept at distilling complex issues
• Influential stakeholder management with senior leaders; trusted advisor mindset
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Accounting or similar
