A specialist law enforcement agency is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join their Legal Services Division and provide high-quality legal support in criminal and financial investigations.

About the Role
As a Solicitor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organisations compliance with legal frameworks while supporting investigations, litigation, and legal advisory functions. You will work across areas such as:
  
Criminal investigations – drafting warrants, affidavits, and advising on legal compliance.
Financial investigations – supporting civil litigation to confiscate proceeds of crime.
Litigation & compliance – representing the Commission in legal proceedings and providing independent legal advice.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documentation for investigations, warrants, and court proceedings.
• Provide expert legal advice to support operational teams.
• Represent the Commission in legal proceedings, inquiries, and investigations.
• Conduct legal research to identify emerging issues and risks.
• Contribute to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

  
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented solicitor with:

• A Law degree and admission as a legal practitioner in NSW (or eligible for admission).
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in litigation, legal compliance, or investigative legal work.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
