Role Overview

The role requires hands-on expertise in AVEVA MES modules, industrial automation, system integration, database development, and .NET technologies.

Must-Have Technical and Functional Skills

Experience and technical knowledge of AVEVA MES core modules and CMES.
Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware software, including:
- AVEVA MES modules: Performance, Operations, and Quality
- AVEVA System Platform
- AVEVA Work Tasks (Skelta BPM)
- AVEVA MDM
Experience as a developer on at least one full-lifecycle AVEVA MES project.
Software development, implementation, and support experience with AVEVA/Wonderware MES, particularly the Operations, Quality, and Performance modules.
Experience with MES environment setup and platform readiness.

Roles and Responsibilities

MES Functional Expertise

Demonstrate a functional understanding of MES modules, including Operations, Performance, and Quality.
Understand the functionalities covered by AVEVA MES and map functional requirements to the appropriate MES modules.
Apply knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA standards.

Industrial Automation and System Integration

Work with AVEVA System Platform, Wonderware/AVEVA Historian, and Object Integration Server.
Understand control and automation technologies, including OPC, PLCs, SCADA, and system integration methods.
Apply knowledge of industrial automation and networking, which is an advantage.

Software Development and Programming

Database Development and Optimisation

Write and maintain SQL scripts and queries.
Work with Microsoft SQL Server.
Design and maintain databases.
Optimise SQL queries and design database views to support application performance and reporting requirements.
