Role Overview
The role involves leading functional design, configuration, implementation, and optimisation of workforce management solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to improve workforce processes and operational efficiency.
Must-Have Technical and Functional Skills
Strong functional expertise in Infor WFM, particularly Time & Attendance and Workforce Scheduling.
Configure business rules, scheduling rules, pay rules, overtime, balances, accruals, and employee roles.
Understand complex workforce processes, including shift bidding, vacation bidding, schedule changes, employee qualifications, and union rules.
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs, specifications, and user stories.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, ServiceNow, SAP, Kronos, and technical integration teams.
Lead functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue analysis, business validation, and user training.
Experience in the airline or transportation industry is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
Functional Design and Configuration
Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Infor Workforce Management solutions, focusing on Time & Attendance and Workforce Scheduling modules.
Configure and maintain business rules, pay rules, overtime rules, attendance policies, accruals, balances, employee groups, roles, and security profiles.
Analyse and support complex workforce management processes, including:
Shift bidding and vacation bidding
Schedule optimisation and schedule changes
Employee qualifications and certifications
Union work rules and labour agreements
Compliance and workforce policy management
Provide guidance on best practices for workforce scheduling, labour optimisation, compliance, and process improvement.
Requirements Gathering and Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
Work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, ServiceNow, SAP, Kronos, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end workforce management solutions.
Lead workshops, requirements discovery sessions, solution reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
Testing and Implementation
Lead functional testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, and business validation.
Support data migration, cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-production stabilisation.
Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations, reporting requirements, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
Training and Functional Leadership
Develop training materials, conduct end-user training sessions, and provide ongoing business support.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Infor WFM.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and business users.
