Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture, solution design, integration, and implementation initiatives. The role requires deep expertise across Salesforce clouds, platform capabilities, enterprise integrations, data architecture, and DevOps practices.
Must-Have Technical and Functional Skills
Apply expert-level technical expertise across multiple Salesforce domains, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities such as Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across applications, integrations, and third-party tools.
Manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving:
Application Development: Configuration, customisation, and development using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
Integrations: Middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
Data Management: Data migration, ETL processes, and data governance within Salesforce environments.
Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices, including DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Collaborate with IT teams, subject matter experts, business partners, and clients to assess business processes, identify pain points, and define architectural solutions.
Design and review Salesforce solutions to ensure alignment with organisational strategies, data governance policies, and technical standards.
Lead large and complex Salesforce projects involving cross-functional teams, cloud-to-cloud integrations, and emerging technologies.
Partner with stakeholders to develop business case assessments, project justifications, ROI analyses, architectural reviews, and RFP evaluations.
Evaluate and recommend Salesforce applications, add-ons, and AppExchange solutions to enhance system capabilities.
Provide leadership and guidance to project personnel and architects working on Salesforce-related projects.
Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, recommending improvements and innovations to existing architecture.
Roles and Responsibilities
Architecture and Strategy
Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across multiple clouds and enterprise platforms.
Define target-state architecture, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
Establish enterprise standards for scalability, performance, and security.
Solution Design and Implementation
Design and oversee configurations, customisations, and development using Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Flows.
Design integration frameworks using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
Define data architecture, migration strategies, and governance models.
Enterprise Integration
Define API-led and event-based integration strategies across Salesforce and external systems.
Work with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft to deliver enterprise integration solutions.
Governance and Best Practices
Drive the adoption of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and effective release strategies.
Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and design patterns.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Partner with IT teams, business stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements, identify pain points, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Lead architecture workshops, reviews, and design approval processes.
Collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure alignment between architecture and organisational objectives.
Delivery Leadership
Lead large-scale Salesforce programmes involving cross-functional teams and multi-cloud, multi-system integrations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and developers.
Support project delivery through architectural oversight and stakeholder engagement.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on Salesforce releases, emerging capabilities, and industry trends.
Evaluate and recommend Salesforce AppExchange products and enhancements.
