Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned client profiles throughout the full client lifecycle. The role covers client onboarding, KYC/AML due diligence, periodic reviews, tax-document validation, account servicing, relationship management, and business development support.
The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, maintain strong client relationships, coordinate effectively across departments, and identify and escalate compliance or operational risks appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding and KYC/AML
Manage the onboarding of individual, corporate, and trust accounts.
Review KYC/AML, Source of Funds, and Source of Wealth documentation.
Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information and coordinate the necessary follow-ups.
Liaise with Compliance and Operations to progress accounts towards approval, activation, and funding.
Maintain accurate client records and monitor onboarding deadlines and key milestones.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client profiles.
Coordinate effectively with Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Business Development.
Contribute to process improvements, internal procedures, and ad hoc projects.
Provide clear progress updates and escalate operational or compliance concerns promptly.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
At least three years of relevant experience in account management, client onboarding, KYC/AML, brokerage, custody, wealth management, client services, or financial operations.
Working knowledge of KYC/AML, periodic reviews, QI, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
Strong client relationship management skills and commercial awareness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms; HubSpot experience is preferred.
Knowledge of stock exchange rules and custodian settlement procedures would be an advantage.
Relevant regulatory or professional certification, where applicable.
