Senior FP&A Analyst – Chelmsford Area
£60-65K plus excellent benefits
 
A leading construction business in the Chelmsford area is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the team. It’s a varied role, and you will be involved in balance sheet and cashflow budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and analysis. If you are a data whizz and spreadsheet pro, read on!
 
The role:

• Analysing business performance (revenue forecasting, utilisation, trend analysis)
• Creating new internal reporting and planning processes to improve the flow of financial information
• Developing and maintaining multi-currency balance sheet forecast model to help manage currency exposure using data analysis and trends.
• Driving accurate cashflow forecasting across multiple European entities.
• Business partner with the treasury team and internal business units.
• Managing the groups budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements.
• Preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Assisting in the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
• Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modelling projects.

About You:

• Ideally 5 plus years of UK experience in FP&A in any sector.
• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modelling, multi entity cashflow and balance sheet forecasting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, working with different levels across the organisation.
• Proactive mindset, with a strong aptitude to follow and improve existing processes.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and complex financial structures.
