ASSET & LOGISTICS COORDINATOR | GERALDTON, WA | FULL-TIME

Due to continued growth, RDH are seeking an experienced and motivated Asset & Logistics Coordinator to join our Geraldton team. We are looking for a proactive, organised professional with experience in asset coordination or logistics who can confidently build relationships across the business while ensuring operational requirements are met.
What you'll be doing
Reporting into the Operations team, you'll play an important role in managing the day-to-day coordination of RDH's fleet, including company-owned and cross-hired plant and equipment. Your focus will be ensuring assets are effectively allocated, accurately tracked and available to support project requirements while maintaining accurate records and strong communication across the business. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating the scheduling, utilisation, and management of our fleet, including company-owned and cross-hired construction plant, equipment, and ancillary assets.
You will be joining an established team with well-developed systems, processes, and supplier relationships already in place, providing a solid foundation for success. This is a full-time position based in our Geraldton office, working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), with occasional site travel required to support major project mobilisations. Please note this is not a FIFO role and relocation assistance is not available.
Role Responsibilities
- Coordinate the scheduling, allocation and utilisation of company-owned and cross-hired plant and equipment across multiple projects.
- Manage accurate asset records, including utilisation, maintenance schedules, repairs and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, workshop personnel and suppliers to coordinate asset movements and maintenance requirements.
- Coordinate the procurement and cross-hire of plant and equipment through established supplier networks.
- Prepare and issue plant hire agreements using established company templates and processes.
- Complete mobilisation documentation and asset-related paperwork to meet project and client requirements.
- Monitor plant utilisation and prepare reports on fleet availability and under-utilised assets.
- Assist with plant cost tracking, end-of-month reporting and cost allocation.
Skills, Experience and Abilities - Previous experience in asset coordination, fleet management, logistics or a similar operational role.
- A sound understanding of construction plant, machinery and equipment, with transport or logistics coordination experience highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across the business.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong initiative and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A current C Class Driver's License and the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
