Red Dust Holdings are gearing up for a major pipeline of civil works and are recruiting for experienced Project Managers to support successful project delivery.
From intersection upgrades and acceleration lanes on major Pilbara highways to regional road upgrades, mine site earthworks and roadworks, complex multi-discipline landfill cells and flood damage repairs, you’ll be responsible for leading high standard projects that keep WA moving.

Established in 2010, Red Dust Holdings (RDH) are a privately owned Civil Construction, Heavy Haulage and Mining Services Operation, offering a wide range of civil and earthmoving solutions to an extensive client base throughout Regional WA.

Our projects span from small civil construction to large projects in the civil and mining sector, such as detailed roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, tailings dams, airport construction and major highway upgrades. RDH tenders projects, in the range of $2m and $45m.
About the Role:
You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of successfully deliver both minor and major capital projects from initiation through to completion. Reporting to the Projects Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient execution of projects while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

- Project Specific Rosters (Regional FIFO / DIDO pending location)
- Location: various sites and scopes around regional WA as required for each civil project
- Our projects span across Pilbara, Goldfields, Midwest, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate civil construction projects—bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage and other site development tasks
- Oversee project planning, budgets, schedules and resource management
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standards
- Liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, subcontractors and clients
- Support and mentor project teams, ensuring alignment with RDH’s values and goals
- Provide regular project updates to the Project Director and department leads
- Quality assurance and risk management
- Management of project reporting to client specifications and RDH contract requirements
- Management of RDH systems to conform with our IMS
About You: - Relevant tertiary qualification in project management and/or civil engineering degree
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in civil construction project management/budgeting experience
- 3 - 5+ years managing civil construction projects in regional WA
- Knowledge of Main Roads (MRWA) specifications & standards
- A deep understanding of construction materials, methodologies & technology, as well as engineering principles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, codes and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of SWMS
- Forecast and budget review to project actuals
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and proactive decision-making
- Ability to direct, motivate and lead while creating constructive relationships
- Ability to coordinate the project in its entirety and planning project deliverables
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Motivated and enthusiastic work ethic with a high degree of integrity
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
- White / Blue card (Construction Safety Induction)
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Ability to complete full pre-employment medical and Drug & alcohol screening
