Travis McLeod from ri-kroot is currently recruiting boilermaker roles for a leading engineering and fabrication company, for structural steel welds on 2 major dredging vessel upgrades.

With ongoing work into 2026 and potential full time opportunities available, immediate starts are proposed for competent structural steel welders, working hours are 5am-3pm Monday to Friday with optional Saturdays.
 
Paying $51.25 Per Hour & OT & Super, the requirements are; 

• Cert 3 in Fabrication / Boilermaker
• Structural steel to AS1554.1 standard
• FCAW / MMAW / GMAW to coded standards
• Ability to work off technical drawings
• Ability to accurately pass a weld test 
• Physically fit and able to work well within a team
• Reliable with a great work ethic
• Own PPE, tools, mask and transport to site      
• Police check, drug & alcohol screen required to start
