About the Role 
 
As a Complex Support Worker at Bundaleer Homecare, you’ll provide compassionate overnight care during weekday shifts. Working Part-Time, you will be working closely with the Registered Nurse, and provide high-quality care to residents with complex care needs, assisting with personal care, mobility, comfort, and safety. You’ll use your experience in complex care to recognise changes in residents’ health and wellbeing, respond appropriately, and promptly report any concerns to the Registered Nurse.

What you will do 
 
The Complex Support Worker is responsible for ensuring: 

• Personal care is provided in accordance with each resident's needs and preferences such as personal hygiene, continence care, mobility, eating & drinking etc. 
• Clinical Care such as medication support, basic dressings, and wound care, measuring vital signs etc 
• Social and recreational support such as assisting residents' family and visitors, and assisting residents attending activities. 
• Domestic services such as cleaning and serving meals, 
• Assessment and care planning such as completing care documentation, including progress notes and daily charts 

  
Who are you and what will you bring? 

• Minimum Cert III in Support Work - Mandatory
• Complex Care Experience and Complex NDIS Experience 
• Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients 
• Experience in working in an Aged Care setting 
• Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)  
• Have your own vehicle
• Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care 
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
