About the role
We are on the lookout for a dependable and experienced Store Person with a valid forklift license to join our dynamic team at our bustling electrical wholesale store. The chosen candidate will oversee receiving, storing, and distributing electrical products and materials, along with maintaining meticulous inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive & Inspect Deliveries: Unload, inspect, and receive incoming shipments of electrical products and materials.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders, ensuring timely dispatch.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Forklift Operation: Safely load, unload, and move products and materials around the warehouse using a forklift.
• Warehouse Upkeep: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks and participate in annual inventory counts.
• Additional Duties: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Forklift License: A valid forklift license is essential.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
• Skills: Good communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Time Management: Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
