We are looking for a skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman for our Plant Hire Client based in Glasgow.

This role requires the right person to lead a small workshop team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in plant maintenance and will be comfortable managing staff and workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the preparation of plant machinery for hire
• Leading a small team of plant fitters
• Troubleshooting, fault finding, and undertaking mechanical repairs
• Managing workshop admin, including job cards, purchase orders, and system updates
• Liaising with suppliers and supporting the branch manager

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with plant machinery (excavators, dumpers, rollers, etc.)
• Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a supervisory role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Comfortable using workshop systems for admin and reporting
