We are looking for a Senior Sous chef to join this successful restaurant that champions bright & bold flavours, open fire cooking and working with the best seasonal produce. You'll support the excellent female Head Chef and owner to lead the team and will play a very important role in the success of this loved restaurant.
The menu changes regularly and compromises of delicious, comforting vegetarian dishes to exciting, completely moreish meat and fish dishes all of which are created with the very best ingredients. Its the sort of place that you crave and keep going back to! The drinks menu features a mix of natural, low intervention wines and cocktails which are simple twists on the classics. The wonderful owner has also launched a super successful cookbook and has lots of exciting plans ahead for the business.
You'll need experience running busy kitchens to a high standard, and will have to be super organised and up for supporting with the office side of management too. You don’t have to have experience cooking on fire, but an understanding of a broad ranges of spices, flavours and cuisines is great as well as a keen interest to learn more. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen team on the menu which changes regularly.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week and is consistently busy so you’ll have a nice mix of shifts and this is a full time 48 hours a week role.
