This excellent spot has been open for a couple of years now and has one of the best founder stories around. The owner has deep links in the pub and brewing world and this spot combines the best aspects of the pub whilst having a huge focus on the food. The menu is simple, seasonal and has its roots in the British classics and is executed by a very well-respected Head Chef. The drinks selection is also excellent and very considered, a big focus on the best ales but also a great wine selection and a few special bottles around too.
The management team here is pretty stable and they’re looking for a restaurant manager to help them manage the site day-to-day. This role will be very operational, so a big focus on leading the team, looking after guests and overseeing service. You will run some shifts by yourself but for busy services the GM and/ or AGM would also be around. There are several areas of the business to oversee but this role would focus on the dining room so someone with an appetite to take ownership here would be fantastic as there is a lot of scope for input. The restaurant is in demand and does have some very busy services, unsurprisingly Sunday lunch is popular here!
Typically, you will work 6 shifts per week and as they’re open 7 days a week so there is a good mix of shifts and they are big on being as flexible with their rotas as possible.
