This restaurant has been open for a few months and has received lots of attention already. The vibe here is fast-paced and buzzy and the guests are pretty well heeled too. Theres a real focus on the guest experience and the food is some of the most exciting around. Dimly lit, counter dining, open-fire cooking and a large terrace – so much that contributes to an incredible atmosphere where you would be leading the wine service. There is an amazing wine director on board and there’s the opportunity to work collaboratively on the list but also no pressure if you’re not yet an expert on this country’s wine.


They source a lot of the wines directly from the producers so a big part of this job would be logistical to manage the cellar to facilitate larger deliveries but ensuring you don’t run out too. You would be responsible for ordering and managing the inventory as well as being accountable for stock control; so a really exciting role for you to take ownership of a department. The managers here are really great and know their wines so there is plenty of support. This is a new role though as after a great first few months they now feel they’d love someone on the team full-time to dedicate to the wine, wine service and training of the team. This is a busy spot with multiple areas to oversee so this role would really suit someone with experience of working in larger restaurants.
