We love this business, we’ve been working with them for a while now and they are one of the best places around. The senior leadership team here is really stable and the founding chef partner has such an incredible reputation in the industry. There is a real and genuine focus on learning and development in this business and we love hearing how they work with the teams on their personal development and growth.

The food here is exceptional with a big focus on seasonality, produce and simple classic cooking and the wine list naturally matches. All of the wines are low intervention and the list is super accessible with a fair few special bottles too. The team here are looking to grow their strength on the wine side of things so you’ll be used to recommending and passionate about your wines. There’s no need to be the whole package and the wine buyer here is a great person to learn from, they are also happy to support WSET studies so loads of chance for you to learn.

Initially the focus of the role is on service and recommending wines as well as helping with training the team and the plan would be to grow the role so you support the wine buyer with cellar and list management and also attend trade tastings with them. The management here is very collaborative so you’ll help with the day-to-day mgmt. of running service, guest relations and reservations management, rotas and consumables ordering. You’ll be up for running a couple of services a week as a solo manager and on busier nights, you’ll take a lead on the wine service alongside another manager.
