We’ve been long-term admirers of this absolute beaut, and we’re not the only ones. Both owners are hugely experienced and respected titans of our industry and they are ambitious to be the best in class. The food here is stunning, the menus focus on the best seasonal produce and change regularly, sometimes daily depending on what produce is coming into season and it’s availability. A dream place to visit, with rooms available too, there are regular guest chef events and the restaurant here is an often-referenced industry fave.
This is a multi-faceted operation so whilst lunch and dinner are the focus there are rooms so breakfast is available everyday and there is a healthy roster of private events and industry pop-ups and collabs. The business is open 7 days a week so there will be a good mix of shifts although the busiest shifts tend to be evenings and the weekend. There is an established team lead by a brilliant head chef who you would be supporting. The focus here is leading the team day to day and supporting the rest of the operation daily. Occasionally you will run service so you’ll be organised and systematic, a busy service here can be upwards of 100 covers so you’ll be experienced working at scale. Outside of service you will support the HC and owner with day to day team management and paperwork.
