A much-loved South London neighbourhood café is looking for a calm, creative Head Chef to join their small and passionate team. This family-run business has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, and the local community feels super lucky to have such a bustling spot on their doorstep.
Due to increasing demand, this husband-and-wife duo are ready to expand and now need a Head Chef to support them by taking the reins in the kitchen, allowing them to focus on the wider business and so for the right person, there is room for progression as the company continues to evolve.
We're looking for a confident and capable chef, you will be responsible for running daily service and prep, managing ordering and supporting the owners with menu development and so having experience working at management level within an Indy restaurant or café would be mega. Just as importantly, this close-knit team is looking for someone who is calm, proactive and genuinely committed to being part of the business.
Everything is made in-house using excellent ingredients, with a strong emphasis on supporting small and local business.
This is a daytime-only role, the café is currently open Wednesday to Sunday, 8am–4pm, offering an brilliant work-life balance.
