We are proud to be working with this iconic and people centred family run business. The restaurant is a beautiful seafood/fish focused restaurant with high footfall and genuinely caring and super lovely owners. They’ve recently celebrated their 25th birthday and have newly revamped the restaurant, marking an exciting new direction for the business. There is a strong and stable management team and they are up for putting PR support behind the HC if they want it.
Sourcing incredible fresh seafood is at the heart of what they do, prioritising traceability, quality and a minimum time from sea to plate. They have in house fishmongers so the job for the head chef really is more in the final plating and making its accompaniments the best they can be. The Head Chef will have full creative autonomy over the menu so needs to be passionate about fish & seafood and you’ll be able to do things your way, but with a real focus on stripped back quality, so much flavour and not messing around on the plate too much.
They are open 7 days a week and closed on Sunday evenings, so you'll work a mix of shifts and this is a 45 hour week role. Should you work overtime you are paid pro rata for every hour worked overtime.
