THE JOB
This brilliant & well-loved small pub group have recently brought on such an exciting chef at their flagship site with an incredible food background. It's going to be big news and we're so excited to see their new menu launch. The owners are now looking to bring a new chef to take on a Rotisserie Chicken food offering to their pub in Highgate, one of London's most iconic neighbourhoods.
Around the incredible Rotisserie Chicken offering, there is going to be lots of creative freedom as well as PR support as the new food offering launches at this wonderful site. This role could be perfect for a creative and experienced Sous Chef stepping into their first Head Chef role as well as a more experienced Head Chef as there is plenty of support with all the BOH admin and it is a small team.
Importantly, the ideal person is a creative chef with a background in excellent restaurants who is used to cooking seasonally and working with the best produce. You'll be a brilliant cook who will entice people in with your generous, comforting and delicious cooking. Knowledge around Rotisserie Chicken would be a big plus, but not essential. Being the location it is, naturally they'll also be a big focus on Sunday lunches.
Great opportunity to work with excellent seasonal British produce, using the best British Restaurants as your inspiration. They have incredible staff retention throughout the business and we are looking for someone caring and progressive who shares their ethos around positive company culture.
They are open 7 days for lunch and dinner, so you'll work a mix of shifts during and it's a 48 hour per week role.
