Super sustainable, female led catering company are looking for a super organised Kitchen Ops Manager to lead chefs, assist with their development and oversee ops without actually cooking.
This brilliant, super-sustainable, East London-based catering company is going from strength to strength. Known for their creative, colourful and seasonal menus - often veggie or vegan, they cater events ranging from 20 to 500 guests. During busy weeks they can deliver 15+ events.
As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a talented kitchen leader. You’re highly organised, passionate about operations, and experienced in leading chefs in professional kitchens. You’ll play a key role in building and nurturing a positive team culture.
You’ll be responsible for managing the team, onboarding, training, and appraising chefs. You’ll create training and development plans for the team and ensure the quality and efficiency of all food coming from the kitchen. You’ll also oversee ordering, supplier relationships and financials, including labour and food costs.

This is a Monday-to-Friday, daytime role. It’s a predominantly hands-off, admin-focused position where you’ll support the owner with leadership responsibilities while helping to build and develop a happy, motivated kitchen team.
