This is a really special role that would suit either someone that has plenty of experience managing cafes and coffee shops or even an experienced AGM of a larger restaurant. All of the shops are incredibly busy and the owner is looking for someone to support him and the current group GM to look after all of the day-to-day aspects of running the three coffee shops. There is also a bakery that supplies each shop but this isn’t strictly part of the remit of this position, that being said, if you were really keen to be involved here then the owner is very happy to consider that too.
  
Each shop has got a great core team, many with amazing length of service but they’re in need of a leader to oversee all three sites. The team here is friendly and very experienced so you’ll need to be an experienced leader, one that values kindness and team wellbeing. You would work only during the day-time as the shops are open 8am – 2pm and spend your shifts at all sites. They are very busy all of the time and they will need you to work at the weekends but it’s not necessary to be there for all of them.

Your day-to-day will include scheduling, team management, H&S compliance and maintenance and ensuring quality and service remain high. The bakery acts as a central site for deliveries so you would also liaise closely with the owner and current Group GM to ensure all sites are fully stocked. This owner is really lovely and there will be a lot of autonomy and input up for grabs in this role. They’re motivated to continue and ensure excellence in everything they do and aren’t necessarily looking to grow the business in the near future.
