This pub is gathering up accolade after accolade, and for good reason. We cannot think of another pub that does the local, real pub vibe, but with premium excellent seasonal food any better than these guys. There is history in these walls, originally opened in the 16th century, this pub now belongs to one of our fave groups, and with their wonderful exec at the helm, its just a dream scenario. Set in the beautiful picturesque Cotswolds, this place is like something from a film. Characterful, warm, super cool, excellent drinks, beer and wine, but most importantly the food is exceptional. If you are looking to leave London behind, and relocate to the stunning British countryside then this could be your time.
We are looking for a Sous chef to move ideally from London to the Cotswolds. You would have been a junior sous, or sous for at least a year, be experienced in high volume, because with all the awards these guys are getting, this place is busy! Some understanding of GP, and back office is great, but most importantly, you should be a clean, organised, and high energy chef who has excellent passion for good food and produce. That’s what its all about! You can move into some accommodation over the road for the first couple of months while you find your feet, and the exec chef is always around for support – this group is full of warm and lovely culture focused chefs.
