This really beautiful, design-led and light-filled restaurant is looking for an experienced sous to support their excellent Head Chef. A recently opened spot that is already garnering praise from critics for its simple, stylish and produce focused food. The operation is pretty restaurant focused at the moment but with a café due to open soon as well as a growing events aspect of the business this is an exciting business with a diverse offering and lots of scope for growth. The owners are pretty creative and love input from the team too. The Head Chef had got a stellar cv, is highly focused on excellence and loves to share his knowledge. We’ve eaten their food on many occasions and really rate their skills!
An ideal sous for this spot would be someone experienced in the behind-the-scenes administrative aspects of the role to offer support to the HC as well as someone happy leading the team through a busy service. Someone hot on organisation and communication as well as being people-centric in your approach. You’ll be excited by working with the best produce and have a keen eye for detail to ensure the team are always working to the highest standards. Sunday and Monday would be guaranteed days off and you’d have a nice mix of shifts over the rest of the week – typically one double and 3 single shifts and a 45 hour working week means there’s great scope for work-life balance.
