THE JOB

We’re looking for an AGM or Assistant Head Sommelier with good management experience in either a restaurant or wine bar background. This iconic & intimate wine bar in East London owned by highly respected industry leaders has been open for over 10 years and is well-loved by many. They are looking to build on their success and elevate their food offering this year with a more extensive food menu. Be a key part of the exciting plans ahead for this brilliant cocktail and wine bar group.

The ideal person will be someone with a real passion for wine and hospitality and with a good level of wine knowledge. You don't have to have extensive wine knowledge, more important is being an excellent manager to support in leading and inspiring the team, as well as strong admin and financial skills. You will assist and collaborate in building this incredible and ever changing wine list. This is an amazing opportunity to build on both your skills as a manager and to broaden your wine knowledge as you'll be working with a vast selection of changing wines. The perfect AGM is someone who loves excellent restaurants and bars, with strong leadership and back office skills looking to join an excellent business and be a key part of their future plans.
  
THE HOURS

This bar is open 7 days per week, with 11/12pm closes. This is a 48 hour week role, with some scheduled admin time.
