This HH certified spot is looking for a somm to join their wine team. Iconic restaurant working with the best seasonal produce and a world-class selection of classic wines. This place is busy all year round but truly shines in the summer. You will be joining an established wine team with great length of service and so much to teach. This place has a truly collaborative approach between departments so you’ll be happy to get stuck in help the wider team on the floor too. A great opportunity to became a master of the wines of one iconic country – one that confuses many wine pros! There is exceptional LOS in the restaurant with people across the whole team staying for decades so this could be a dream role long-term.
  
Ideally you will have some experience working on a wine team or in a wine-focused role but the most important thing here is a desire to learn and contribute to the success of this incredibly special restaurant. You should be excited to learn more about the provenance and history of both the food and wine and want to contribute to the overall guest experience too. The Head Somm has been here for years and has a great track record of training the team. There’s usually always 2 somms on shift so you’ll rarely be working alone. Whether you’re looking deepen your wine knowledge or are looking for some more opportunities to learn about the overall management of running a wine department this is a great opportunity to learn with some of the loveliest people around.
