THE JOB
We are looking for a Head Chef for a beautiful vineyard in rural Sussex to oversee the food offering at this multifaceted space. The menu is centred around championing excellent seasonal and local produce as well as incorporating vegetables and herbs from the veg beds on site. Work with the owners to plan the veg that you'd like to grow for the menu throughout the year. As well as developing the menu for and running the restaurant space, you will also look after the food offering for their deli featuring incredible focaccia sandwiches, tarts and more. In the summer, they open up their relaxed terrace space selling pizzas from their woodfired oven.
This vineyard is an incredible location they have such a beautiful set up and are keen to build on and expand their already very exciting food and beverage offering. There is so much opportunity here and you can have real ownership over shaping the future of this space. The ideal person will be a talented, creative chef who can oversee a multifaceted operation as well as progressive leader who can nurture and develop their brilliant team.
They are open Wednesday - Sunday lunches and Friday and Saturday for dinner so you'll mostly be working daytimes. Get in touch if this sounds like a bit of you!
