About this role
This is an identified position, open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only. It's advertised as a special measure under section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA) and section 8 of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth), to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working on major Commonwealth infrastructure projects.

The opportunity
TRACKS Integrated Services is recruiting a Junior Project Coordinator for a 22-month contract on a major Commonwealth airfield upgrade on Cocos Keeling Island. The first 6 months are FIFO to the island on a 3-weeks-on / 1-week-off roster. The remaining 16 months are based in a Perth office.
It's a substantial seat on a nationally significant project. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, learn how a major infrastructure delivery comes together, and finish the contract with the kind of experience that opens doors across the sector.
What you'd be doing
Keeping the day-to-day moving on a complex project — schedules, documentation, milestone tracking, stakeholder communications, procurement and logistics support, onboarding of project personnel, and the administrative backbone that keeps a remote site running. You'll work directly with the project team, consortium partners, and external stakeholders, and you'll hold records, reporting, and compliance in good order.
What you bring
