12-month Contract Opportunity
Test Automation Developers (Brisbane/Canberra & Melbourne)

Are you a highly skilled Developer Automation Tester with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions? We're seeking experienced professionals to a large & long-term project

About the Role:
This is a 12-month contract opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation focused on digital identity services. You will play a key role in developing and supporting applications using modern technologies and contributing to the advancement of automation testing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support applications using Visual Studio and .NET C#.
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of automation testing strategies across various platforms (SPAs, mobile apps, REST APIs).
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium and Specflow.
• Apply Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices and Gherkin syntax.
• Work with Azure DevOps Test Plans for test case management and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Developer using .NET C# and Visual Studio.
• Experience with application security and identity management concepts (OpenID, JWTs preferred).
• Solid understanding of AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, HTTP protocol, REST, microservice patterns, T-SQL, and NodeJS.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices (Azure DevOps and PowerShell highly desirable).
• Experience with Git and branching strategies.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Specflow).
• Understanding of BDD and Gherkin.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with UML.
• Experience with Azure DevOps work items and workflow integration.

Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be eligible for a Baseline security clearance.
• 2 weeks notice period.

Benefits:

• Hourly rate $105/hour
• 12-month contract.
