About the Role:
As a Python Developer, you’ll design and implement high-performance systems that handle significant transaction volumes. You’ll play a pivotal role in building and scaling mission-critical infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial products. Location: Melbourne (Hybrid – flexible arrangement)
Perm: Permanent Full-Time Role

Role Requirements & Tech Stack:

Essential Skills:

• 1-5+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Proficiency in FastAPI or Django web frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of message queues (e.g., Redis, Kafka, ZMQ) for real-time processing.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.
• A track record of writing maintainable, well-tested code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Highly Regarded Skills:

• Familiarity with financial systems or integrations.
• Experience developing low-latency systems.
• Understanding of Agile development environments and workflows.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML systems and financial compliance tools.
• Exposure to blockchain protocols or cryptocurrency technologies.
