About the Role:

This role is a unique blend of software engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure expertise. You will take full ownership of projects involving critical cloud-based systems and process safety platforms. Your responsibilities will include developing advanced software solutions, managing end-to-end DevOps processes, and engaging with key business stakeholders to resolve technical blockers and drive continuous improvement.

Location: Brisbane (Hybrid – flexible arrangement)
Perm: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with a view to permanency & eligibility for bonuses)

Role Requirements & Tech Stack:
Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of software development experience, focusing on .NET backend and React frontend.
• Solid experience with AWS cloud services, including containerised workloads (Fargate/Kubernetes).
• Proven track record in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting IaC patterns like SAM and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and TDD.

Highly Regarded Skills:

• Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) and SSO solutions.
• Knowledge of architectural principles for integration and cloud system design.
• Familiarity with additional development tools such as Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
