IT Support Engineer
Sydney, Waterloo
$95,000 (inclusive of super) 

We're looking for a capable IT Support Engineer to be the face of IT for the Sydney operations. You'll be the go-to tech expert for approximately 200 people in the Sydney office.

They are leaders within the retail space and any retail experience you have will stand you in good stead, although certainly not required.

This isn't a typical helpdesk role - you'll need to be confident, self-sufficient, and able to hold your own. You'll be supporting colleagues as senior as C-Suite level and will need to be comfortable working with people in a fast paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support to 200+ users
• Lead desktop support for both Windows and macOS environments
• Manage hardware deployments, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Deliver exceptional service to all staff levels, from entry-level to executives
• Manage user accounts and access control via Active Directory and Group Policies
• Administer Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments
• Oversee Zoom/Teams meeting rooms and VoIP systems

What We're Looking For:

Essential

• Strong technical skills across Windows and macOS platforms
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and user management
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure administration
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands effectively

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Pronto and AP21 systems
• Knowledge of VoIP and video conferencing systems (Zoom/Teams)
• Understanding of IT security principles and risk management

The Details

• Location: Waterloo, Sydney
• Salary: $95,000 per annum (inclusive of superannuation)
• Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
